Who are the Barnstormers?

The Barnstormers are a collective of New York/Tokyo-based artists who create large-scale collaborative paintings, films and performances. The group formed in 1999 after a pilgrimage to the rural town of Cameron, North Carolina. During the trip, twenty-five artists painted dozens of barns, tractor-trailers, shacks and farm equipment. Consequently, the tiny tobacco farming community became the unlikely Mecca for the urban collective. Finaly I can show you this blogs+forums solution that I’ve been setting-up and designing this months (Sorry for this time with no posts, too much things queued!). This website is called “Nos Mean y Los Diarios Dicen: Llueve“, wich in English means something like “They pee on us and the newspapers say: it’s raining”. This title is a quote from the latinoamerican writer Eduardo Galeano. I hope you like it.

On the technical side it’ll be interesting to see two of the more powerfull open source CMS working together.

Español -> Después de un largo tiempo sin postear por fin puedo facilitarles un enlace al último trabajo en el que he estado metido. Éste es un sitio web que aúna el sistema de blog tradicional más foros y se llama “Nos mean y los diarios dicen: llueve”

Seguro que este blog me dejará una experiencia interesante… Desde la parte técnica será interesante ver hasta dónde se puede llegar aunando dos de los gestores más potentes y con mayor desarrollo (”state-of-the-art” como dirían los anglos) de código abierto.
